Trying to kick the coffee habit?

If you're trying to kick the coffee habit or even just reduce the amount you drink, give Teeccino a try. When you subscribe to their Healthy Tips Newsletter, you can also get a free sample of the caffeine-free herbal "coffee". (Look at the right side of the page.)

As you'd expect, the Teeccino site has information about their products -- and they have a lot of flavors and grinds to choose from. However, it's also a useful site with extra articles and educational information. There is an article about quitting caffeine painlessly, a quiz to determine if you're addicted to caffeine and lots of information about the effects of caffeine on your health. For example, did you know that your coffee intake can have negative effects if you're trying to lose weight?

I have ordered Teeccino before and it's an interesting beverage. It doesn't taste quite like coffee or like tea. If you wanted something warm and tasty though, I could definitely see it replacing either of the beverages mentioned. The fact that you can brew it in your coffee maker and dress it up the same way you'd make coffees could fill that void if you want the caffeine out of your life.

Tea Time - 40% off and free shipping

Do you like tea? If you have a favorite Twinings brand tea, now is the time to stock up. I like Earl Grey, so that's what I linked to, but once you get to the site, you can try other types of tea too. It looks like most Twining brand 6-packs are included in this sale. To sweeten up the deal a little more, it's eligible for free shipping.

Add two of the 6-packs to your cart. Be sure to click the FREE super-saver shipping when shown available shipping methods. Then make sure to enter the coupon code TEATEA40 during the checkout process. You enter it AFTER you've already chosen free shipping. The discount gets taken on the same page where you enter your credit card. Make sure the discount is applied before you finish payment details and move on to the next page.

Here's the breakdown for my order:
Two 6-packs: $31.32
Discount applied during checkout: $12.53
Final Cost: $18.79

This is for 12 boxes of tea with 20 tea bags in each box. So I can get 240 tea bags for $18.79 total. That's $1.57 a box (less than the grocery store) or a little less than 8 cents per tea bag!

Enjoy your tea & try to keep warm!
