HP Computer Sale - 30% to 45% off

Just in time for Christmas, HP is offering several great deals. Click through to HP's store and read the specs on some of these computers. One of these deals is sure to match what you need. It's a great time for an upgrade.

Ending Dec 8 2007:

Ending Dec 15 2007:

Computers are bigger ticket items than I usually post, but I decided to share these discounts after considering that people often shop for computers and electronics as Christmas gifts. I have purchased HP computers several times and have been happy with them. The lower cost notebooks don't feel quite as rugged as some of the higher priced competition, but you'd have a tough time beating these specs for the same price.

Tea Time - 40% off and free shipping

Do you like tea? If you have a favorite Twinings brand tea, now is the time to stock up. I like Earl Grey, so that's what I linked to, but once you get to the site, you can try other types of tea too. It looks like most Twining brand 6-packs are included in this sale. To sweeten up the deal a little more, it's eligible for free shipping.

Add two of the 6-packs to your cart. Be sure to click the FREE super-saver shipping when shown available shipping methods. Then make sure to enter the coupon code TEATEA40 during the checkout process. You enter it AFTER you've already chosen free shipping. The discount gets taken on the same page where you enter your credit card. Make sure the discount is applied before you finish payment details and move on to the next page.

Here's the breakdown for my order:
Two 6-packs: $31.32
Discount applied during checkout: $12.53
Final Cost: $18.79

This is for 12 boxes of tea with 20 tea bags in each box. So I can get 240 tea bags for $18.79 total. That's $1.57 a box (less than the grocery store) or a little less than 8 cents per tea bag!

Enjoy your tea & try to keep warm!

Free Movie Rental from Blockbuster

For this one, you'll sign up for My Coke Rewards and within a couple of minutes, you'll be printing a coupon for your free rental. Here's what you do:

1. Sign up for My Coke Rewards by clicking here.
Don't worry that you'll need to buy anything. It's totally free and you get 25 points just for signing up. I signed up and I don't even drink Coke!

2. On the coke rewards site, click on Enter Codes and enter this code: BRAHHK5NFJBW
This will give you 20 additional points, so your grand total is up to 45 points.

3. Redeem your points. You'll do this by clicking on Rewards & Contests, then choosing Point Range and selecting rewards in the 25-50 point range. One page 2 of these rewards, you'll see One Movie Rental at BLOCKBUSTER for 45 points. That's the one you want. Follow the on-screen instructions to redeem it and have your printer ready.

Note: There is another Blockbuster coupon for less than 45 points. It's a rent 1, get one rental free. Make sure you choose the 45 point reward since that's totally free other than maybe paying state taxes when you rent the movie.

$30 off $30 at ShopNBC.com

If you order something that costs $30 or more (an item at this cost, not several that total $30), you can use coupon code W89089103 to receive $30 off your order. Basically, you'll just pay the shipping.

I had never shopped at ShopNBC before, but it looks a lot like QVC, HSN or any of the other tv shopping channel websites. It has similar things to what you find at the others too: jewelry, exercise equipment, household items and various things of interest to collectors.

The best thing about this offer: there is a clearance section on the site. That's where I started. I found some 400 thread count sheets (item G11506) that showed a regular price of $119.99. They were on clearance for $34.95. The shipping on them was $10.99. After entering in the coupon code, my final total showed as $15.94, shipped.

Entertainment Book - Huge Savings!

The Entertainment Book is a coupon book that offers discounts for local restaurants, attractions and stores. I have purchased the one for my area several times and each time I've saved a lot more than what the book cost me. Usually the cost is $30-40 for my area. Right now because it's nearing the expiration date (November 1st is usually when coupons expire), books that are left are only $7.99 and shipping is just $1.

You can view the coupons for your area and order the book here:

http://www.entertainment.com/discount/

From my experience, these books will be useful if you like to go out to eat AND you have someone to go with. Most of the dining coupons are either "buy one get one free" or "buy one get one 50% off" type of coupons.

These books are also great if you are like variety. While using the dining coupons, I tried many places that I'd never even heard of. There are coupons for a lot of chains that you'll be familiar with as well. Make sure to read the fine print on each coupon. Some of them are good only on certain days or at specific times of day.

Jamba Juice Free Smoothie

Do you like smoothies, but not the cost? Here's a BOGO (buy one get one free) coupon for a free smoothie. This coupon is good through July 4.

http://www.jambasummer.com/freesmoothie/thankyou3.htm

They have a couple of new smoothies that sound delicious: Peach Perfection and Pomegranate Paradise. The Pomegranate drink is a blend of pomegranate juice, strawberries, mangos and peaches, 100% fruit. The Peach smoothie contains peaches and mangos as its main ingredients. Now, if only I lived closer to a Jamba Juice...

Enjoy,
Z
