Customized Holiday Greeting Cards - FREE

These holiday cards normally cost $12.99, but are free right now. You pay only the shipping which costs $5.95 for standard mailing. The slowest shipping will get the cards to you by December 18th if you order today. That may not be soon enough for cards that you plan to mail, so those may need a shipping upgrade. I'm planning to hand out my cards at parties that are scheduled after the 18th, so all I'm paying is the $5.95.


You can customize the style and layout of the card, choose a greeting (or write your own), add your name and even add your own photos if you'd like. Adding a photo does cost $2.49, so the cards wouldn't be quite free if you choose that option. Still, it's not a bad price if you must have a picture of your pet iguana (ok, ok... or your child) on your Christmas card.

UPDATE: I was able to get 3 different sets of these for free. When I tried the 4th set, the cart tried to charge me for them. I made each set and saved it, then added them to the cart (from my saved items) during checkout. The shipping total for the entire order increased to $8.65. Not bad for 30 customized cards with plain envelopes.

Have you seen the movie, Ratatouille? I saw it at the theatre and really liked it. I think any cooks out there would get a kick out of it and it would entertain the kids as well. 4 servings

2 tsp finely minced garlic
1 cup chopped onions
1 large eggplant
3 medium zucchini
2 large green peppers
1 tsp dried oregano
1 T fresh basil or 2 tsp dried basil
2 tsp chopped parsley
2 cups crushed canned tomatoes
fresh ground pepper

1. Heat oil in Dutch oven or large saucepan, cook garlic and onions until tender.

2. Cut vegetables into 1-inch pieces.

3. Add the eggplant,zucchini,pepper,oregano— parsley and stir well.

4. Saute about 5 minutes.

5. Add tomatoes,cover and cook over low heat for about 45 minutes.

6. Serve hot or cover mixture and refridgerate to serve chilled.
